Apply for a Gifted AED for Your Community Group

If you are a Not-For- Profit or charitable community group or organisation (eg. sporting club, community interest group) and feel you have a need for a defib because you are a hub of activity within the community, and your members and/or the community could benefit from having an AED on hand, then please fill out the form below.

Apply for a Gifted AED

To apply for a defib via our gifting program, please take the time to fill out all steps.

You can register to have your club (or that of someone you believe could benefit from the donation of an AED) and if we can, we will donate an AED to that club or group. 


We will choose suitable applicants when there is availability of an AED from our supporting organisations.  Things we will consider as making a group suitable for a donation will include:

  • The type of group or organsation;

  • Where the group gets its funding from;

  • The number of people that are likely to benefit from the donation of the AED.


Donations are made at the sole discretion of Heart of the Nation, and no correspondence other than the application form shall be considered by Heart of the Nation.

If your application is successful, you will be notified within 5 days of your application being made.  If you do not hear from us, you may make another application, but no more than 5 unsuccessful applications may be made by any group, club, organisation or entity, or by any individual on behalf of a group, club, organisation, or entity.
