WITH SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST,

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE -

WE CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE

Sudden Cardiac Arrest kills more Australians each year than any other cause of death.
AED's can help stop SCA in its tracks!

"With every minute that passes after a person suffers a cardiac arrest without defibrillation - their chance of survival decreases by 10%. Time matters!

Because Sudden Cardiac Arrest can strike, anywhere, at any time, without any warning, the community needs as many AED's (defibrillators) as possible out there and availalbe to be used in the event of someone suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

Before my SCA, I was totally oblivious to the fact that only 10% of people that suffer a cardiac arrest actually survive it!  That statistic is WAY too low!  We need to have many more survival stories such as mine.

And because 75% of SCA's happen in the home, we need to educate all Australians about the need for AED's in the places we live, work and play, as well as how to use them if you, or a colleague, friend or neighbour needs to be shocked back to life, just as I was."
