PAEDIATRIC PADS
The HeartStart FRx features a specialized Infant/Child Key, making it adaptable for use on young patients under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg.
Upon inserting the Key, the FRx automatically adjusts to deliver a gentler, appropriate level of shock for smaller patients. It's important to assess the child's size rather than delaying action to ascertain their precise age or weight. If the child seems older or larger, it's advised to proceed without the Key. Prompt response is crucial in emergency situations.
